Darkflame Cleft

Darkflame Cleft was once a prosperous earthen mine, but eventually, that prosperity ended. Earthen Machine Speakers moved out, and not long thereafter, kobolds swarmed in. The workers were soon oppressed by a tyrannical Candle King, a tall, bulky brute who towered over his subjects. Obvious wealth was extracted long ago. The real opportunity here is to defeat the last of the king's horrendous henchmen and liberate the intimidated kobolds within.

Living flame hungers for fuel. Blazikon burns eternal in Darkflame Cleft, simmering with malice and rage. Loyal kobold attendants worship here, for his incendiary realm is surrounded by dire darkness. Fanatic kobolds would gladly sate this monstrosity's hunger by sacrificing... you.
The Candle King
Candle King was the tyrannical ruler of a kobold kingdom. His subjects toiled in his mines until an outlander from afar stole his crown and deposed him. Now he's fled deeper within Darkflame Cleft, seething with rage and threatening to return. Snuff his flame once and for all.
The Darkness
What terrors lurk in shadows? Why do kobolds keep candles lit? Tiny creatures huddle around campfires, telling tales of ancient evil. THE DARKNESS can be defeated but never destroyed. Instead, it inevitably returns in a new terrifying shape. Stay in the light. THE DARKNESS WAITS.

Ol' Waxbeard summons waves of kobolds and deadly minecarts that run over all units. He marks priority targets for his allies with [Luring Candleflame] and spurs Wick into a [Reckless Charge] towards a distant player, devastating players and kobolds alike in his path.

Tanks: Menial Laborers quickly become a threat as they survive, due to [Crude Weapons].
Tanks: Ol' Waxbeard's [Rock Buster] causes the target to take increased Physical damage for a brief period.
Healers: [Luring Candleflame] draws all Menial Laborers to focus the target.
Healers: Ol' Waxbeard's [Reckless Charge], the resulting [Cave-In], and speeding minecarts all instantly kill Menial Laborers.
Damage Dealers: Menial Laborers quickly become a threat as they survive, due to [Crude Weapons].
Damage Dealers: Ol' Waxbeard's [Reckless Charge], the resulting [Cave-In], and speeding minecarts all instantly kill Menial Laborers.

Blazikon creates flames using [Wicklighter Barrage] to seek players. Upon reaching 100 energy, he will blast an [Enkindling Inferno] aimed at all unlit candles.

Tanks: Blazikon assaults all players with [Blazing Storms] when there are no players are in melee combat.
Tanks: [Enkindling Inferno] blasts flames towards every unlit candle, setting them ablaze.
Damage Dealers: [Wicklighter Barrage] ignites any candles that are hit by it.
Damage Dealers: [Enkindling Inferno] blasts flames towards every unlit candle, setting them ablaze.
Healers: [Wicklighter Barrage] ignites any candles that are hit by it.

The Darkness

The Darkness enwreathes the area in smothering shadows, reducing combat abilities of anyone without a light source. It uses a variety of Shadow attacks to devour its foes and weaken the light.

Tanks: Players without [Candlelight] suffer the debilitating effects of [Smothering Shadows].
Tanks: [Umbral Slash] and [Shadowblast] will both damage the light if they strike it.
Damage Dealers: Players without [Candlelight] suffer the debilitating effects of [Smothering Shadows].
Damage Dealers: The Darkness uses [Call Darkspawn], which approach the light and cast [Drain Light].
Damage Dealers: [Umbral Slash] and [Shadowblast] will both damage the light if they strike it.
Healers: Players without [Candlelight] suffer the debilitating effects of [Smothering Shadows].
