Introdução

This guide goes through Illidan's kit ability by ability. The kit brings crowd control (stun) with The Hunt, mobility with Sweeping Strike and sustain with Betrayer's Thirst. At level 10 you choose between the heroics Metamorphosis and The Hunt.

  • [W] Sweeping Strike — Basic ability — moves you. Keep it to escape unless the kill is certain.
  • [E] Evasion — Basic ability. Part of your regular rotation.
  • [R] The Hunt — Heroic — applies a stun. Save it for priority targets or to interrupt a channel.
  • [R] Metamorphosis — Heroic. Plan your fights around its cooldown.
  • Betrayer's Thirst — Trait — heals. Time it for the enemy's burst, not for chip damage.

2Abilities and levels

There are no skill points in Heroes of the Storm: all basic abilities are available from level 1 and grow with your level. What changes is the talents — see the talents guide.

3Combos

Without hard crowd control in the kit, your damage depends on positioning: land your abilities when the enemy is committed to something else.

4Heroics

At level 10 you choose between The Hunt and Metamorphosis. Pick after seeing the enemy team: each solves a different problem.

  • The Hunt — Heroic — applies a stun. Save it for priority targets or to interrupt a channel.
  • Metamorphosis — Heroic. Plan your fights around its cooldown.

Dicas

  • Land The Hunt first: every ability after it is easier to hit.
  • Keep Sweeping Strike out of your combo unless the kill is certain.
  • Use Betrayer's Thirst reactively, when the enemy commits.
  • Practise the combo in a practice game before using it in ranked.
