Introdução

This guide goes through Alarak's kit ability by ability. The kit brings crowd control (silence) with Discord Strike and sustain with Lightning Surge. At level 10 you choose between the heroics Deadly Charge and Counter-Strike.

2Abilities and levels

There are no skill points in Heroes of the Storm: all basic abilities are available from level 1 and grow with your level. What changes is the talents — see the talents guide.

3Combos

A simple sequence that follows from the kit: open with Discord Strike, follow with Telekinesis and Lightning Surge. The disable first means everything after it lands.

4Heroics

At level 10 you choose between Deadly Charge and Counter-Strike. Pick after seeing the enemy team: each solves a different problem.

  • Deadly Charge — Heroic — hits an area. Plan your fights around its cooldown.
  • Counter-Strike — Heroic. Plan your fights around its cooldown.

Dicas

  • Land Discord Strike first: every ability after it is easier to hit.
  • Use Lightning Surge reactively, when the enemy commits.
  • Practise the combo in a practice game before using it in ranked.
  • Count the enemy's key cooldowns: the best moment to use yours is right after they use theirs.
