Introdução

In Heroes of the Storm there are no items: Alarak picks one talent at levels 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16 and 20. This guide goes through every tier. Your big moments are level 10, when you pick Deadly Charge or Counter-Strike, and level 20, when the heroic gets its upgrade.

WTelekinesis12s30 mpVector Targeting Create a force, pushing Alarak and all enemies hit from the targeted point towards the targeted direction. Deals 48 (+4% per level) damage to enemies.
ELightning Surge6s25 mpDeal 62 (+4% per level) damage to an enemy and an additional 100% damage to enemies between Alarak and the target. Restore 70 (+4% per level) health for each Hero hit.
RDeadly ChargeHeroica45s60 mpAfter channeling, Alarak charges forward dealing 200 (+4% per level) damage to all enemies in his path. Distance is increased based on the amount of time channeled, up to 1.5 seconds. Issuing a Move order while this is channeling will cancel it at no cost. Taking damage will interrupt the channeling.
RCounter-StrikeHeroica30s50 mpAlarak targets an area and channels for 1 second, becoming Protected and Unstoppable. After, if he took damage from an enemy Hero, he sends a shockwave that deals 275 (+4% per level) damage.
SadismTraçoAlarak's Ability damage and self-healing are increased by 100% against enemy Heroes. Repeatable Quest: Takedowns increase Sadism by 3%, up to 30%. Sadism gained from Takedowns is lost on death.

3Level 7

Hindered Motion — Upgrades Telekinesis for more utility.

Dissonance — Upgrades Discord Strike for more utility.

4Level 10

Your heroic: the most important choice of the game. Pick it after seeing the enemy team.

Counter-Strike — Heroic ability focused on damage. Picked in the balanced, damage, survival and utility builds.
Deadly Charge — Heroic ability focused on damage.

5Level 13

The options at level 13 and which build picks each one:

Blade of the Highlord — Upgrades Sadism. Picked in the balanced, damage and survival builds.
Pure Malice — Upgrades Sadism.
Rite of Rak'Shir — Upgrades Discord Strike for more utility. Picked in the utility build.

6Level 16

The options at level 16 and which build picks each one:

Lethal Onslaught — Upgrades Discord Strike for more damage. Picked in the balanced, damage and survival builds.
Lightning Barrage — Upgrades Lightning Surge.
Mocking Strikes — The most utility-focused option at level 16. Picked in the utility build.

7Level 20

Level 20 upgrades your heroic or adds a late-game tool. It decides the final fights.

Wrath of the Highlord — Upgrades Deadly Charge for more damage.
Last Laugh — Adds an active ability for utility. Picked in the balanced, damage, survival and utility builds.
Might of the Highlord — Flexible pick at level 20.
Hasty Bargain — Upgrades Sadism for more utility.

Dicas

Choose the level 10 heroic after seeing the enemy team: Deadly Charge or Counter-Strike.
Quest talents pay off only if you complete them early; skip them if you're not sure.
A talent that upgrades an ability you rarely use is worth less than it looks.
Talents unlock for the whole team at the same level: watch the enemy's level 10 too.
