Strategy
1What Rehgar does
Rehgar is a melee Healer in Heroes of the Storm. The kit brings mobility with Ghost Wolf and sustain with Chain Heal. At level 10 you choose between the heroics Ancestral Healing and Bloodlust.
2The basics
In this guide you play it as Healer: your job is to keep your team alive, avoid the enemy dive and add utility.
- Mana: it is your real health bar in long fights.
- Positioning: if the enemy can't reach you, your team can't lose the fight quickly.
3Common mistakes
Most new players lose games with the same few mistakes. Avoid these and you'll already be ahead:
- Spending all your mana before the fight starts.
- Standing in front of your tank.
- Chasing kills instead of healing.
4Your first games
Early, soak experience in a lane, stay close to your team and don't waste mana healing chip damage. Use the simple build in this guide and don't worry about situational choices yet.
Tips
- Mana: it is your real health bar in long fights.
- Positioning: if the enemy can't reach you, your team can't lose the fight quickly.
- Experience is shared by the whole team: being in lane to soak it matters as much as fighting.
- Learn what Bloodlust and Ancestral Healing do before your first game: you'll choose one at level 10.
