Overview
This guide is about playing Ashe aggressively. Aggressive bot means trading with your support on every enemy mistake and forcing the enemy under tower before dragon. Your spikes are level 6, when Enchanted Crystal Arrow comes online, and each completed item: Stormrazor first, then Yun Tal Wildarrows. Riot rates it 7/10 in attack, 2/10 in magic, 3/10 in defense and 4/10 in difficulty.
Strengths
- Crowd control: Enchanted Crystal Arrow applies a stun to set up kills.
- Enchanted Crystal Arrow hits several enemies: a strong team fight tool.
- Long attack range (600) for safe trades in lane.
Weaknesses
- Fragile: Riot rates it 3/10 in defense.
- No dash or blink in the kit: vulnerable to ganks without vision.
- Every death while playing aggressively hands the tempo back to the enemy.

Strategy
1When to fight
Your spikes are level 6, when Enchanted Crystal Arrow comes online, and each completed item: Stormrazor first, then Yun Tal Wildarrows. Aggressive bot means trading with your support on every enemy mistake and forcing the enemy under tower before dragon.
2Picking your targets
Hit the closest target you can hit safely, not the one you want: a marksman that stays alive wins the fight. The best target is the one your team can reach and kill before the enemy answers, not always the most valuable one.
3Snowballing a lead
After a won fight, take dragons and towers before anything else: that's what turns kills into a lead the enemy can't erase. Early, dragon is the objective of your lane: have your wave pushed when it spawns.
4When to back off
Safe bot means last hitting with minimal risk, standing behind your minions and waiting for your two-item spike. If your key abilities are on cooldown or the enemy is missing from the map, the aggressive play is to wait.
Tips
- Fight on your spikes: right after Stormrazor, look for the next fight instead of farming.
- Look for kills when Enchanted Crystal Arrow is ready and the enemy's key ability is not.
- Use Enchanted Crystal Arrow to start the fight, then commit your damage.
- Track the enemy's key cooldowns and attack right after they use them.
- Turn every kill into dragons and towers: a kill without an objective is a wasted lead.
- Push your lane before you roam so the aggression doesn't cost you resources.
Matchups
Strong against
Ashe attacks from 600 units and Nilah from 225: every trade in lane happens at a distance they cannot answer.
Enchanted Crystal Arrow (stun) lets Ashe pin Lucian down before Relentless Pursuit gets them out.
Enchanted Crystal Arrow (stun) lets Ashe pin Xayah down before Featherstorm gets them out.
