1The kit

The kit brings mobility with Cataclysm.

Martial Cadence — Passive. It works on its own: play around it.
[Q] Dragon Strike — Basic ability. Part of your regular rotation.
[W] Golden Aegis — Basic ability — slows, shields and hits an area. Time it for the enemy's burst, not for chip damage.
[E] Demacian Standard — Basic ability. Part of your regular rotation.
[R] Cataclysm — Ultimate — moves you and hits an area. Keep it to escape unless the kill is certain.

2Skill order

Put a point in Cataclysm at levels 6, 11 and 16. Between the basic abilities, max first the one that does most for your lane — usually your main damage or wave clear — and keep the utility one for last.

3Combos

Without hard crowd control in the kit, your damage depends on positioning: land your abilities when the enemy is committed to something else.

4Using your ultimate

Cataclysm is the ability the enemy plays around. Use it where it changes the fight, and remember its cooldown: after using it, you're a smaller threat for a while.

Dicas

You can use the Dragon Strike / Demacian Standard combo to get out of your own Cataclysm arenas.
Split your basic attacks on different champions at the beginning of fights to maximize damage.
Use Demacian Standard as a scouting tool when worried about incoming enemies.
Keep Cataclysm out of your combo unless the kill is certain.
Use Golden Aegis reactively, when the enemy commits.
