This guide is about playing Abathur safely and consistently. Safe support play means keeping your utility to answer the enemy and staying out of their reach. The kit brings mobility with Evolve Monstrosity and sustain with Evolve Monstrosity.

Habilidades

  • QSymbiote4sSpawn and attach a Symbiote to a target ally or Structure. While active, Abathur controls the Symbiote, gaining access to new Abilities. The Symbiote is able to gain XP from nearby enemy deaths.
  • WToxic Nest10sSpawn a mine that becomes active after a short time. Deals 153 (+4% per level) damage and reveals the enemy for 4 seconds. Lasts 90 seconds. Stores up to 3 charges.
  • REvolve MonstrosityHeroica90sTurn an allied Minion or Locust into a Monstrosity. When enemy Minions near the Monstrosity die, it gains 2% Health and 2% Basic Attack damage, stacking up to 40 times. The Monstrosity can be healed by Carapace and has the ability to Burrow to a visible location every 80 seconds. Using Symbiote on the Monstrosity allows Abathur to control it, in addition to Symbiote's normal benefits. This AbilHeroic — moves you and heals. Keep it to escape unless the kill is certain.
  • RUltimate EvolutionHeroica70sClone target allied Hero and control it for 20 seconds. Abathur has perfected the clone, granting it 20% Spell Power, 20% bonus Attack Damage, and 10% bonus Movement Speed. Cannot use their Heroic Ability.Heroic. Plan your fights around its cooldown.
  • Locust StrainTraço15sSpawns a Locust to attack down the nearest lane every 15 seconds. Locusts last for 16 seconds, have 350 (+4% per level) health and deal 46 (+4% per level) damage with each Basic Attack, dealing 25% bonus damage to enemy Structures.

Estratégia

1Safe laning

Safe support play means keeping your utility to answer the enemy and staying out of their reach. Let your teammates trade and use your utility to punish the enemy's answer.

2Surviving fights

Protect whoever is being focused and keep your utility for the key moment. Your way out is Evolve Monstrosity: if it's on cooldown, stay further back.

3Positioning and peel

Stand where the enemy has to go through your team to reach you, and protect whoever the enemy focuses.

4Playing from behind

When the game goes badly, farm what's safe, defend with your team and wait for the enemy to make a mistake: a single won fight can turn it around.

Dicas

  • Keep Evolve Monstrosity for escaping, not for chasing.
  • Keep Evolve Monstrosity for the enemy's burst, not for chip damage.
  • Go back when your key abilities are down: a reset costs less than a death.
  • Never be the first to show on the map in the late game.
  • If enemies are missing from the map, back off before they appear.
