Introdução

This guide is about playing Abathur aggressively. Aggressive support play means using your utility to start fights and pushing forward when the enemy is caught. Your big moments are level 10, when you pick Evolve Monstrosity or Ultimate Evolution, and level 20, when the heroic gets its upgrade.

Habilidades

  • WToxic Nest10sSpawn a mine that becomes active after a short time. Deals 153 (+4% per level) damage and reveals the enemy for 4 seconds. Lasts 90 seconds. Stores up to 3 charges.
  • REvolve MonstrosityHeroica90sTurn an allied Minion or Locust into a Monstrosity. When enemy Minions near the Monstrosity die, it gains 2% Health and 2% Basic Attack damage, stacking up to 40 times. The Monstrosity can be healed by Carapace and has the ability to Burrow to a visible location every 80 seconds. Using Symbiote on the Monstrosity allows Abathur to control it, in addition to Symbiote's normal benefits. This AbilHeroic — moves you and heals. Keep it to escape unless the kill is certain.
  • RUltimate EvolutionHeroica70sClone target allied Hero and control it for 20 seconds. Abathur has perfected the clone, granting it 20% Spell Power, 20% bonus Attack Damage, and 10% bonus Movement Speed. Cannot use their Heroic Ability.Heroic. Plan your fights around its cooldown.

1When to fight

2Picking your targets

Protect whoever is being focused and keep your utility for the key moment. The best target is the one your team can reach and kill before the enemy answers, not always the most valuable one.

3Snowballing a lead

After a won fight, take map objectives and mercenary camps before anything else: that's what turns kills into a lead the enemy can't erase. Early, help your team win the first map objectives and mercenary camps.

4When to back off

Safe support play means keeping your utility to answer the enemy and staying out of their reach. If your key abilities are on cooldown or the enemy is missing from the map, the aggressive play is to wait.

Dicas

  • At level 10, pick the heroic that ends fights fastest: Evolve Monstrosity or Ultimate Evolution.
  • Track the enemy's key cooldowns and attack right after they use them.
  • Turn every kill into map objectives and mercenary camps: a kill without an objective is a wasted lead.
  • Push your lane before you roam so the aggression doesn't cost you resources.
