This guide is about playing Malthael aggressively. Aggressive bruiser play means winning your lane hard, taking the enemy's fort and forcing them to send two heroes to stop you. Your big moments are level 10, when you pick Tormented Souls or Last Rites, and level 20, when the heroic gets its upgrade.

2Picking your targets

Pressure the enemy frontline and punish anyone who steps forward. The best target is the one your team can reach and kill before the enemy answers, not always the most valuable one.

3Snowballing a lead

After a won fight, take map objectives and mercenary camps before anything else: that's what turns kills into a lead the enemy can't erase. Early, keep your lane, take a camp when you can and rotate to map objectives and mercenary camps in time.

4When to back off

Safe bruiser play means soaking without dying, clearing waves quickly and rotating only when the objective needs you. If your key abilities are on cooldown or the enemy is missing from the map, the aggressive play is to wait.

Dicas

At level 10, pick the heroic that ends fights fastest: Tormented Souls or Last Rites.
Track the enemy's key cooldowns and attack right after they use them.
Turn every kill into map objectives and mercenary camps: a kill without an objective is a wasted lead.
Push your lane before you roam so the aggression doesn't cost you resources.
