Introdução

In Heroes of the Storm there are no items: Malthael picks one talent at levels 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16 and 20. This guide goes through every tier. Your big moments are level 10, when you pick Tormented Souls or Last Rites, and level 20, when the heroic gets its upgrade.

WWraith Strike5s30 mpInstantly teleport through an enemy afflicted by Reaper's Mark, dealing 59 (+4% per level) damage and refreshing Reaper's Mark.
EDeath Shroud8s50 mpAfter 0.25 seconds, unleash a wave of dark mist that applies Reaper's Mark to enemies it hits.
RTormented SoulsHeroica60s20 mpUnleash a torrent of souls, continually applying Reaper's Mark to nearby enemies for 4 seconds. When Tormented Souls is cast and when it expires, reset the cooldown of Wraith Strike.
RLast RitesHeroica70s100 mpApply a death sentence to an enemy Hero that, after 2 seconds, deals damage equal to 50% of their missing Health. Quest: Enemies killed between the application of Last Rites and within 1.5 seconds of it dealing damage permanently reduce its cooldown by 5 seconds, to a minimum of 20 seconds.
Reaper's MarkTraçoBasic Attacks cleave in an area in front of Malthael and afflict non-Structure targets with Reaper's Mark for 4 seconds. Marked enemies are revealed and take damage equal to 2% of their maximum Health every 1 second.

Die Alone — Upgrades Soul Rip for more damage. Picked in the damage build.
Throwing Shade — Upgrades Death Shroud for more utility. Picked in the balanced, survival and utility builds.
Black Harvest — Quest talent: it only pays off if you complete it early, so commit to it.

3Level 7

Massacre — Upgrades Wraith Strike.
Touch of Death — Upgrades Reaper's Mark for more survivability. Picked in the survival build.
Cold Hand — Upgrades Soul Rip for more utility. Picked in the balanced, damage and utility builds.

4Level 10

Your heroic: the most important choice of the game. Pick it after seeing the enemy team.

Tormented Souls — Heroic ability focused on utility. Picked in the utility build.
Last Rites — Heroic ability focused on damage. Picked in the balanced, damage and survival builds.

5Level 13

The options at level 13 and which build picks each one:

Soul Siphon — Upgrades Soul Rip for more survivability. Picked in the survival build.
Inevitable End — Upgrades Reaper's Mark for more survivability.
Shroud of Wisdom — The most survivability-focused option at level 13.
Ethereal Existence — Upgrades Reaper's Mark for more survivability. Picked in the balanced, damage and utility builds.

6Level 16

Soul Collector — Upgrades Soul Rip for more utility. Picked in the utility build.
Mortality — Upgrades Wraith Strike for more damage. Picked in the survival build.
Memento Mori — Upgrades Reaper's Mark for more damage. Picked in the balanced and damage builds.

7Level 20

Level 20 upgrades your heroic or adds a late-game tool. It decides the final fights.

Reaper of Souls — Upgrades Tormented Souls.
Angel of Death — Upgrades Last Rites for more damage. Picked in the balanced, damage and survival builds.
Final Curtain — Upgrades Death Shroud. Picked in the utility build.
No One Can Stop Death — Adds an active ability.

Dicas

Choose the level 10 heroic after seeing the enemy team: Tormented Souls or Last Rites.
Quest talents pay off only if you complete them early; skip them if you're not sure.
A talent that upgrades an ability you rarely use is worth less than it looks.
Talents unlock for the whole team at the same level: watch the enemy's level 10 too.
