Introdução

Mei is a ranged Tank in Heroes of the Storm. In this guide you play it as Tank: your job is to start the fights, protect your team and control where the enemy can stand. Mei is of average difficulty: learn the basics below and it rewards you quickly.

Pontos fortes

  • Sustain from Cryo-Freeze.
  • Strong gank potential around the map.
  • Crowd control: Blizzard applies a stun.

Pontos fracos

  • Mana-hungry: Blizzard flags its energy as important, so manage it early.
  • Low damage by itself: it needs its team to finish kills.

Estratégia

1What Mei does

Mei is a ranged Tank in Heroes of the Storm. The kit brings crowd control (stun) with Blizzard and sustain with Cryo-Freeze. At level 10 you choose between the heroics Avalanche and Ice Wall.

2The basics

In this guide you play it as Tank: your job is to start the fights, protect your team and control where the enemy can stand.

  • Experience is shared: soaking lanes matters as much as winning fights.
  • Engage with your team, not before it arrives.

3Common mistakes

Most new players lose games with the same few mistakes. Avoid these and you'll already be ahead:

  • Engaging when your team is out of position.
  • Chasing too deep after a won fight.
  • Leaving a lane empty for long periods.

4Your first games

Early, soak experience in a lane with your team's weaker laner, rotate to the first objective and ward with your presence: where you stand is where the enemy can't. Use the simple build in this guide and don't worry about situational choices yet.

Dicas

  • Experience is shared: soaking lanes matters as much as winning fights.
  • Engage with your team, not before it arrives.
  • Experience is shared by the whole team: being in lane to soak it matters as much as fighting.
  • Learn what Avalanche and Ice Wall do before your first game: you'll choose one at level 10.
