Introdução
This guide goes through Mephisto's kit ability by ability. The kit brings crowd control (root) with Durance of Hate and mobility with Shade of Mephisto. At level 10 you choose between the heroics Consume Souls and Durance of Hate.

Lord Of HatredTraçoHitting enemy Heroes with Basic Abilities reduces Mephisto's Basic Ability cooldowns. Skull Missile and Shade of Mephisto grant 1.5 seconds of cooldown reduction per Hero hit, and Lightning Nova grants 0.3 seconds per Hero hit.Trait. Part of your regular rotation.

2Abilities and levels
There are no skill points in Heroes of the Storm: all basic abilities are available from level 1 and grow with your level. What changes is the talents — see the talents guide.
3Combos
Without hard crowd control in the kit, your damage depends on positioning: land your abilities when the enemy is committed to something else.
4Heroics
At level 10 you choose between Consume Souls and Durance of Hate. Pick after seeing the enemy team: each solves a different problem.
- Consume Souls — Heroic — slows and hits an area. Plan your fights around its cooldown.
- Durance of Hate — Heroic — applies a root and hits an area. Use it on the target your team can kill.
Dicas
- Land Durance of Hate first: every ability after it is easier to hit.
- Keep Shade of Mephisto out of your combo unless the kill is certain.
- Practise the combo in a practice game before using it in ranked.
- Count the enemy's key cooldowns: the best moment to use yours is right after they use theirs.
