Introdução

In Heroes of the Storm there are no items: Mephisto picks one talent at levels 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16 and 20. This guide goes through every tier. Your big moments are level 10, when you pick Consume Souls or Durance of Hate, and level 20, when the heroic gets its upgrade.

WLightning Nova14s50 mpA ring of lightning appears around Mephisto for 2.5 seconds. Enemies within the ring take 43 (+4% per level) damage every 0.25 seconds. Each time a cast of Lightning Nova hits a Hero, its damage is increased by 3%, up to 30%.
EShade of Mephisto18s35 mpTeleport to a location, dealing 78 (+4% per level) damage to nearby enemies and leaving behind a Shade of Mephisto at Mephisto's original location. After 2.5 seconds, Mephisto is teleported back to the Shade's location.
RConsume SoulsHeroica120s80 mpChannel for 2.5 seconds, revealing all enemy Heroes. After the Channel completes, all enemy Heroes take 357 (+4% per level) damage and are Slowed by 25% for 2.5 seconds.
RDurance of HateHeroica50s50 mpAfter 1 second, unleash a wave of evil spirits that Root the first enemy Hero hit for 2.5 seconds and deal 250 (+4% per level) damage to them over the same duration. Durance of Hate spreads outwards from its initial target, Rooting and damaging additional nearby enemy Heroes.
Lord Of HatredTraçoHitting enemy Heroes with Basic Abilities reduces Mephisto's Basic Ability cooldowns. Skull Missile and Shade of Mephisto grant 1.5 seconds of cooldown reduction per Hero hit, and Lightning Nova grants 0.3 seconds per Hero hit.

4Level 10

Your heroic: the most important choice of the game. Pick it after seeing the enemy team.

Consume Souls — Heroic ability focused on utility. Picked in the balanced, damage, survival and utility builds.
Durance of Hate — Heroic ability focused on utility.

5Level 13

The options at level 13 and which build picks each one:

Abhorred Skull — Upgrades Skull Missile for more damage. Picked in the damage build.
Hysteria — The most survivability-focused option at level 13. Picked in the balanced, survival and utility builds.
Shard of Hate — The most utility-focused option at level 13.

6Level 16

Lightning Reaction — Upgrades Skull Missile for more damage. Picked in the balanced and damage builds.
Static Field — Upgrades Lightning Nova for more damage. Picked in the survival build.

7Level 20

Level 20 upgrades your heroic or adds a late-game tool. It decides the final fights.

Consumed by Hatred — Upgrades Consume Souls for more damage. Picked in the balanced, damage, survival and utility builds.
Unspeakable Horror — Upgrades Durance of Hate for more utility.
Mimic — Upgrades Lightning Nova.
Shade Lord — Upgrades Shade of Mephisto.

Dicas

Choose the level 10 heroic after seeing the enemy team: Consume Souls or Durance of Hate.
Quest talents pay off only if you complete them early; skip them if you're not sure.
A talent that upgrades an ability you rarely use is worth less than it looks.
Talents unlock for the whole team at the same level: watch the enemy's level 10 too.
