In Role Queue each team fields two supports: you keep your team alive, enable fights with your utility and add damage whenever your allies are safe.
2Your keys
Every ability with its default PC key:
- primary fire · Sonic Amplifier: Sonic projectile launcher.
- Shift · Crossfade: Switches between two songs: Healing Boost heals nearby allies, and Speed Boost makes nearby allies move faster.
- E · Amp It Up · 12 s: Increase the effectiveness of your current song.
- secondary fire · Soundwave · 5 s: Create a short-range blast wave to knock enemies away from you.
- Q · Sound Barrier · ultimate: Create temporary extra health for nearby allies.
- Wall Ride · passive: Jump onto a wall to ride along it.
3Perks to start with
During each match you unlock a minor perk and, later, a major perk: one of two options each time. ★ marks this guide's pick.
- Beat Drop: Amp it Up is active during Sound Barrier.
- ★ Soundwave Rider: Wall Riding empowers your next Soundwave, increasing its knockback by 25% and damage by 50%.
- ★ Accelerando: Gain 15% attack speed while Lucio's Speed Song is active, tripled during Amp It Up.
- Noise Violation: Crossfade's range is increased by 150% while Amp It Up is active.
4Mistakes to avoid
- Wandering away from your team and getting picked alone.
- Using your key cooldown before the enemy commits theirs.
Dicas
- Stay where you can see most of your team and have cover nearby.
- Heal the ally that is about to die, not the one who is missing a little health.
- When no one needs healing, shoot: support damage wins fights too.
- Crossfade (Shift) heals: use it before an ally drops too low, not after.
- Sound Barrier (Q) is your ultimate: plan it with your team's ultimates instead of using it as soon as it's ready.
