In Role Queue each team fields two supports: you keep your team alive, enable fights with your utility and add damage whenever your allies are safe.
2Your keys
Every ability with its default PC key:
- primary fire · Orb of Destruction: Energy projectile weapon. Charge to release more projectiles.
- E · Orb of Discord: Launch this orb at an enemy to increase the damage they take.
- Shift · Orb of Harmony: Launch this orb at an ally to heal them.
- Q · Transcendence · ultimate: Become invulnerable, move faster, and heal nearby allies.
- Snap Kick · passive: Quick melee damage increased by 50%, and its knockback is significantly increased.
3Perks to start with
During each match you unlock a minor perk and, later, a major perk: one of two options each time. ★ marks this guide's pick.
- ★ Ascendance: Activate and hold Double Jump to hover for up to 3 seconds.
- Discordant Repair: Zenyatta gains 15% lifesteal against enemies with Discord Orb.
- ★ Dual Harmony: Gain a 2nd Harmony Orb but they both heal for 70% effectiveness.
- Focused Destruction: Secondary Fire charges 20% faster and can store 1 extra Orb of Destruction.
4Mistakes to avoid
- Wandering away from your team and getting picked alone.
- Using your key cooldown before the enemy commits theirs.
Dicas
- Stay where you can see most of your team and have cover nearby.
- Heal the ally that is about to die, not the one who is missing a little health.
- When no one needs healing, shoot: support damage wins fights too.
- Orb of Harmony (Shift) heals: use it before an ally drops too low, not after.
- Transcendence (Q) is your ultimate: plan it with your team's ultimates instead of using it as soon as it's ready.
