1The kit

The kit brings crowd control (root) with Ring of Frost and sustain with Frozen Tomb.

Iceborn Subjugation — Passive — slows and hits an area. It works on its own: play around it.
[Q] Ice Shard — Basic ability — slows. Part of your regular rotation.
[W] Ring of Frost — Basic ability — applies a root and hits an area. Use it on the target your team can kill.
[E] Glacial Path — Basic ability. Part of your regular rotation.
[R] Frozen Tomb — Ultimate — applies a stun and heals. Save it for priority targets or to interrupt a channel.

2Skill order

Put a point in Frozen Tomb at levels 6, 11 and 16. Between the basic abilities, max first the one that does most for your lane — usually your main damage or wave clear — and keep the utility one for last.

3Combos

A simple sequence that follows from the kit: open with Ring of Frost, follow with Ice Shard and Glacial Path and finish with Frozen Tomb. The disable first means everything after it lands.

4Using your ultimate

Frozen Tomb is the ability the enemy plays around. Use it where it changes the fight, and remember its cooldown: after using it, you're a smaller threat for a while.

Dicas

You can instantly use your ultimate on yourself by pressing the self cast key and the ultimate key at once (alt+R by default).
Casting Glacial Path and then running in the opposite direction will leave your enemies uncertain which way you will actually go.
Lissandra's abilities are shorter range than those of many mages. As a result, buying items that offer both ability power and defense, like Zhonya's Hourglass and Banshee's Veil, can be a great choice to help her both survive and deal damage.
Land Ring of Frost first: every ability after it is easier to hit.
Use Frozen Tomb reactively, when the enemy commits.
