Sejuani Abilities and Combos

This guide is assembled by the site from match data and the game's own information — nobody wrote it by hand. Official and community guides appear alongside it when they exist.

Overview

This guide goes through Sejuani's kit ability by ability. The kit brings crowd control (stun) with Fury of the North. Its ultimate is Glacial Prison.

Strengths

  • Crowd control: Fury of the North applies a stun to set up kills.
  • Very durable: Riot rates it 7/10 in defense.
  • Clear job in the team: clear camps efficiently, gank the lanes that can win and control dragons, grubs and Baron.

Weaknesses

  • No dash or blink in the kit: vulnerable to ganks without vision.
  • Falls behind if the early ganks fail: every wasted trip is lost farm.

When to use it

The default path: Bandlepipes, Zeke's Convergence and Locket of the Iron Solari give the health, magic resist and armor this class relies on. Pick it when you have no reason to adapt. Built from Riot's item tags and the champion's class; Riot publishes no build statistics.

Where it's played

Strategy

1The kit

The kit brings crowd control (stun) with Fury of the North.

  • Fury of the North — Passive — applies a stun. It works on its own: play around it.
  • [Q] Arctic Assault — Basic ability. Part of your regular rotation.
  • [W] Winter's Wrath — Basic ability — slows. Part of your regular rotation.
  • [E] Permafrost — Basic ability — applies a stun. Save it for priority targets or to interrupt a channel.
  • [R] Glacial Prison — Ultimate — applies a stun. Save it for priority targets or to interrupt a channel.

2Skill order

Put a point in Glacial Prison at levels 6, 11 and 16. Between the basic abilities, max first the one that does most for your lane — usually your main damage or wave clear — and keep the utility one for last.

3Combos

A simple sequence that follows from the kit: open with Fury of the North, follow with Arctic Assault and Winter's Wrath and finish with Glacial Prison. The disable first means everything after it lands.

4Using your ultimate

Glacial Prison is the ability the enemy plays around. Use it where it changes the fight, and remember its cooldown: after using it, you're a smaller threat for a while.

Tips

  • Use Arctic Assault to escape bad situations, interupt channeled spells or chase runners.
  • Melee allies can stack Frost for your Permafrost, keep an eye on who they are attacking.
  • Save Glacial Prison for encounters where you have teammates present to take advantage of it.
  • Land Fury of the North first: every ability after it is easier to hit.
  • Watch Glacial Prison's cooldown: fights you take without it are much harder.
