Introdução

This guide is about playing Zeratul aggressively. Aggressive play means hunting isolated heroes and forcing fights where the enemy healer is exposed. Your big moments are level 10, when you pick Might Of The Nerazim or Void Prison, and level 20, when the heroic gets its upgrade.

Pontos fortes

  • Strong gank potential around the map.
  • Brings utility that helps the whole team.
  • Has escape tools, according to Blizzard's own hero tags.

Pontos fracos

  • Mana-hungry: Blizzard flags its energy as important, so manage it early.
  • Relies on basic attacks: blinds and armor hurt its damage.
  • Every death while playing aggressively hands the tempo back to the enemy.

Estratégia

1When to fight

Your big moments are level 10, when you pick Might Of The Nerazim or Void Prison, and level 20, when the heroic gets its upgrade. Aggressive play means hunting isolated heroes and forcing fights where the enemy healer is exposed.

2Picking your targets

Go in after the enemy uses their crowd control, focus the squishiest target and use Blink to get back out. The best target is the one your team can reach and kill before the enemy answers, not always the most valuable one.

3Snowballing a lead

After a won fight, take map objectives and mercenary camps before anything else: that's what turns kills into a lead the enemy can't erase. Early, look for picks around map objectives and mercenary camps: a kill before the objective wins it.

4When to back off

Safe play means waiting on the flank until the enemy uses their crowd control, then going in with your team. If your key abilities are on cooldown or the enemy is missing from the map, the aggressive play is to wait.

Dicas

  • At level 10, pick the heroic that ends fights fastest: Might Of The Nerazim or Void Prison.
  • Track the enemy's key cooldowns and attack right after they use them.
  • Turn every kill into map objectives and mercenary camps: a kill without an objective is a wasted lead.
  • Push your lane before you roam so the aggression doesn't cost you resources.

Confrontos

Forte contra

  • Blizzard classifies Orphea as a Ranged Assassin: once Zeratul is on top of them, that distance stops mattering.

  • Blizzard classifies Probius as a Ranged Assassin: once Zeratul is on top of them, that distance stops mattering.

  • Blizzard classifies Raynor as a Ranged Assassin: once Zeratul is on top of them, that distance stops mattering.
