Introdução

This guide goes through Sion's kit ability by ability. The kit brings crowd control (stun) with Decimating Smash and sustain with Glory in Death. Its ultimate is Unstoppable Onslaught.

Estratégia

1The kit

The kit brings crowd control (stun) with Decimating Smash and sustain with Glory in Death.

Glory in Death — Passive — heals. It works on its own: play around it.
[Q] Decimating Smash — Basic ability — applies a stun and hits an area. Save it for priority targets or to interrupt a channel.
[W] Soul Furnace — Basic ability — shields. Time it for the enemy's burst, not for chip damage.
[E] Roar of the Slayer — Basic ability — applies a knock-up and hits an area. Use it on the target your team can kill.
[R] Unstoppable Onslaught — Ultimate. Plan your fights around its cooldown.

2Skill order

Put a point in Unstoppable Onslaught at levels 6, 11 and 16. Between the basic abilities, max first the one that does most for your lane — usually your main damage or wave clear — and keep the utility one for last.

3Combos

A simple sequence that follows from the kit: open with Decimating Smash, follow with Soul Furnace and Roar of the Slayer and finish with Unstoppable Onslaught. The disable first means everything after it lands.

4Using your ultimate

Unstoppable Onslaught is the ability the enemy plays around. Use it where it changes the fight, and remember its cooldown: after using it, you're a smaller threat for a while.

Dicas

You only have very slight turning ability during Unstoppable Onslaught, so make sure to use it in straight paths.
Roar of the Slayer is a great setup ability to land a very powerful Decimating Smash.
The Soul Furnace buff displays how much shield strength is remaining, use this information to time its explosion perfectly.
Land Decimating Smash first: every ability after it is easier to hit.
Use Glory in Death reactively, when the enemy commits.
