Introdução

This guide goes through Amumu's kit ability by ability. The kit brings crowd control (stun) with Bandage Toss. Its ultimate is Curse of the Sad Mummy.

1The kit

The kit brings crowd control (stun) with Bandage Toss.

Cursed Touch — Passive. It works on its own: play around it.
[Q] Bandage Toss — Basic ability — applies a stun. Save it for priority targets or to interrupt a channel.
[W] Despair — Basic ability — hits an area. Part of your regular rotation.
[E] Tantrum — Basic ability — hits an area. Part of your regular rotation.
[R] Curse of the Sad Mummy — Ultimate — applies a stun and hits an area. Save it for priority targets or to interrupt a channel.

2Skill order

Put a point in Curse of the Sad Mummy at levels 6, 11 and 16. Between the basic abilities, max first the one that does most for your lane — usually your main damage or wave clear — and keep the utility one for last.

3Combos

A simple sequence that follows from the kit: open with Bandage Toss, follow with Despair and Tantrum and finish with Curse of the Sad Mummy. The disable first means everything after it lands.

4Using your ultimate

Curse of the Sad Mummy is the ability the enemy plays around. Use it where it changes the fight, and remember its cooldown: after using it, you're a smaller threat for a while.

Dicas

Amumu is highly dependent on teammates, so try laning with your friends for maximum effectiveness.
Cooldown Reduction on Amumu is very strong, but it's often difficult to itemize for it. Grab the Golem buff whenever possible to gain Cooldown Reduction without sacrificing stats.
Despair is very effective against other tanks, so make sure you're in range of opponents with the highest Health.
Land Bandage Toss first: every ability after it is easier to hit.
Watch Curse of the Sad Mummy's cooldown: fights you take without it are much harder.
