Introdução
Taric belongs to Riot's Support and Tank classes and is played mainly as Support (100% of the public matches we measured). It fights in melee range and uses mana. In this guide you play it as Support: your job is to win the bottom lane with your marksman, control vision and enable your carries. The kit brings crowd control (stun) with Dazzle and sustain with Starlight's Touch. Its ultimate is Cosmic Radiance. Riot rates it 4/10 in attack, 5/10 in magic, 8/10 in defense and 3/10 in difficulty.
Pontos fortes
- Very durable: Riot rates it 8/10 in defense.
- Crowd control: Dazzle applies a stun to set up kills.
- Sustain from Starlight's Touch.
- Easy to pick up: Riot rates its difficulty 3/10.
Pontos fracos
- No dash or blink in the kit: vulnerable to ganks without vision.
- Low priority on gold and experience.

Estratégia
1Early game
Your lane is about your marksman: trade when the enemy walks up to last hit, and ward the river before dragon spawns. Complete your support quest to unlock wards. Trade when the enemy marksman goes for a last hit: they have to choose between the gold and the damage.
- Early items: Kindlegem and Cloth Armor.
2Mid game
In the mid game, move with your jungler to ward and clear vision around dragons and towers. You're the one who decides where fights happen. Your spikes are level 6, when Cosmic Radiance comes online, and each completed item: Locket of the Iron Solari first, then Knight's Vow.
- Core items: Locket of the Iron Solari, Knight's Vow and Sunfire Aegis.
3Late game
Late, vision wins games: ward before Baron or Elder, never alone, and stay close to your carries.
- Late items: Dead Man's Plate and Kaenic Rookern.
4Team fights
Protect whoever the enemy dives: Dazzle on the diver is worth more than any damage you could deal. Use Cosmic Radiance where it hits the most enemies or catches the key target.
5Playing against Taric
Riot's own advice for facing this champion:
- Taric's ultimate, Cosmic Radiance, has a long delay before its effect. Try to quickly assess whether to disengage the fight or attempt to kill his allies before it goes off.
- Taric reduces his spell cooldowns by basic attacking enemies with Bravado. Try to kite him in teamfights and punish him for approaching the minion wave in lane.
Dicas
- The cooldown reducing component of Bravado makes Cooldown Reduction items like Frozen Heart, Iceborn Gauntlet, and Spirit Visage exceptionally powerful on Taric.
- Using Starlight's Touch at lower charges makes its healing less Mana efficient, but can greatly increase Taric's sustained damage via Bravado.
- Rather than saving Cosmic Radiance for the last moment and risking someone dying during the delay, it can be more beneficial to cast it as soon as you know a teamfight is guaranteed to start.
- Save Dazzle to answer the enemy engage when you're behind, and to start fights when you're ahead.
- Buy a Control Ward every time you go back: it's the cheapest way to win vision.
- After the laning phase, move with your jungler — two players warding are much safer than one.
