Tiny in Turbo

TurboData-drivenMediumPatch 7.41
158Updated

This guide is assembled by the site from match data and the game's own information — nobody wrote it by hand. Official and community guides appear alongside it when they exist.

Overview

Turbo is regular Dota sped up: more gold and experience, faster respawns and a quicker courier. Games are shorter, so early fights matter more and the late game comes sooner. Turbo speeds everything up — more gold, faster respawns — so skip the long farming phase, rush Blink Dagger and join fights much earlier than in a normal match.

Strengths

  • Reliable stun: Avalanche sets up kills and interrupts enemy channels.
  • Heavy magical burst: Valve lists it as a Nuker.
  • Scales into a late-game threat as the items come in.

Weaknesses

  • No escape in the kit: without good positioning and vision, Tiny is easy to catch.
  • Low base armor (0): vulnerable to physical harass early on.

Strategy

1What changes

Turbo is regular Dota sped up: more gold and experience, faster respawns and a quicker courier. Games are shorter, so early fights matter more and the late game comes sooner.

2Build adjustments

Turbo gives more gold and faster respawns: skip most laning items and go straight for your core, then the damage items.

3Fighting

Walk in after the enemy has used their key disables and hit whatever you can reach safely: your survival is the fight. Turbo speeds everything up — more gold, faster respawns — so skip the long farming phase, rush Blink Dagger and join fights much earlier than in a normal match.

Tips

  • Turbo speeds everything up — more gold, faster respawns — so skip the long farming phase, rush Blink Dagger and join fights much earlier than in a normal match.
  • Don't chase alone: the enemy is always grouped.
  • Buy your core items first: in Turbo you get them much earlier.
  • Don't waste your key abilities on creeps: the next fight is seconds away.
