Introdução
Nautilus belongs to Riot's Tank and Support classes and is played mainly as Support (100% of the public matches we measured). It fights in melee range and uses mana. In this guide you play it as Support: your job is to win the bottom lane with your marksman, control vision and enable your carries. The kit brings crowd control (root) with Staggering Blow. Its ultimate is Depth Charge. Riot rates it 4/10 in attack, 6/10 in magic, 6/10 in defense and 6/10 in difficulty.
Pontos fortes
- Crowd control: Staggering Blow applies a root to set up kills.
- Sustain from Titan's Wrath.
- Clear job in the team: win the bottom lane with your marksman, control vision and enable your carries.
Pontos fracos
- No dash or blink in the kit: vulnerable to ganks without vision.
- Low priority on gold and experience.

Estratégia
1Early game
Your lane is about your marksman: trade when the enemy walks up to last hit, and ward the river before dragon spawns. Complete your support quest to unlock wards. Trade when the enemy marksman goes for a last hit: they have to choose between the gold and the damage.
- Early items: Kindlegem and Cloth Armor.
2Mid game
In the mid game, move with your jungler to ward and clear vision around dragons and towers. You're the one who decides where fights happen. Your spikes are level 6, when Depth Charge comes online, and each completed item: Locket of the Iron Solari first, then Knight's Vow.
- Core items: Locket of the Iron Solari, Knight's Vow and Sunfire Aegis.
3Late game
Late, vision wins games: ward before Baron or Elder, never alone, and stay close to your carries.
- Late items: Dead Man's Plate and Kaenic Rookern.
4Team fights
Protect whoever the enemy dives: Staggering Blow on the diver is worth more than any damage you could deal. Use Depth Charge where it hits the most enemies or catches the key target.
5Playing against Nautilus
Riot's own advice for facing this champion:
- If Nautilus uses Riptide right next to you, hold in place until the ripple effect finishes before running. Running early will run straight into the secondary explosions, causing you to take additional damage and slow.
- While Nautilus is shielded, he is capable of dealing large amounts of area of effect damage with his basic attacks - consider taking down the shield if you have time.
Dicas
- While ganking, consider aiming Dredge Line at nearby terrain and following it up with Riptide for a higher hit rate.
- Riptide has a delayed blast timing on activation - you can use this while running away or when enemies are incoming to serve as a deterrent.
- Save Staggering Blow to answer the enemy engage when you're behind, and to start fights when you're ahead.
- Buy a Control Ward every time you go back: it's the cheapest way to win vision.
- After the laning phase, move with your jungler — two players warding are much safer than one.
- Plan fights around Depth Charge: without it, Nautilus is far less threatening.
