Introdução

This guide goes through Pyke's kit ability by ability. The kit brings crowd control (stun) with Phantom Undertow and mobility with Phantom Undertow. Its ultimate is Death From Below.

1The kit

The kit brings crowd control (stun) with Phantom Undertow and mobility with Phantom Undertow.

Gift of the Drowned Ones — Passive. It works on its own: play around it.
[Q] Bone Skewer — Basic ability. Part of your regular rotation.
[W] Ghostwater Dive — Basic ability — grants invisibility. Part of your regular rotation.
[E] Phantom Undertow — Basic ability — applies a stun and moves you. Save it for priority targets or to interrupt a channel.
[R] Death From Below — Ultimate — moves you. Keep it to escape unless the kill is certain.

2Skill order

Put a point in Death From Below at levels 6, 11 and 16. Between the basic abilities, max first the one that does most for your lane — usually your main damage or wave clear — and keep the utility one for last.

3Combos

A simple sequence that follows from the kit: open with Phantom Undertow, follow with Bone Skewer and Ghostwater Dive and finish with Death From Below. The disable first means everything after it lands.

4Using your ultimate

Death From Below is the ability the enemy plays around. Use it where it changes the fight, and remember its cooldown: after using it, you're a smaller threat for a while.

Dicas

Pyke is very fragile so don't be afraid to temporarily run from a fight. You can regenerate a significant amount of health from Gift of the Drowned Ones when enemies can't see you.
Hitting an enemy with the Hold version of Bone Skewer will always pull them the same distance. Use it in melee range to throw targets behind you.
The Tap version of Bone Skewer is much faster and deals additional damage.
A lot of your agressive spells are also your escapes. Make sure you always have a plan to get out of the fight.
Land Phantom Undertow first: every ability after it is easier to hit.
