Introdução
Reaper is a flanker damage hero in Overwatch with 300 health. In competitive this season (PC, Americas, Europe and Asia averaged) it wins 50.1% of its games, is picked by 11.1% of teams and banned in 2.3% of matches: tier B on our ladder. It wins 52.1% of games in Bronze and 48.3% in Grandmaster: it does better at lower ranks, a friendly pick to start with.

1What you do
In Role Queue each team fields two damage heroes: you secure eliminations, pressure the enemy supports and turn the numbers advantage your tank creates into won fights.
2Your keys
Every ability with its default PC key:
- primary fire · Hellfire Shotguns: Short-range spread weapons.
- E · Shadow Step · 10 s: Teleport to a targeted location.
- Shift · Wraith Form · 8 s: Move faster and become invulnerable, but you cannot shoot.
- Q · Death Blossom · ultimate: Damage all nearby enemies.
- The Reaping · passive: Dealing damage heals you.
3Perks to start with
During each match you unlock a minor perk and, later, a major perk: one of two options each time. ★ marks this guide's pick.
- ★ Lingering Wraith: Leaving Wraith Form grants 30% movement speed for 2 seconds.
- Soul Reaving: Collect Soul Globes from dead enemies to restore 50 health.
- Shadow Blink: Shadow Step's cast time and cooldown are 25% faster, but the range is reduced by 25%.
- ★ Trigger Finger: Refresh Dire Triggers' cooldown whenever using an ability or reloading.
4Mistakes to avoid
- Trading shots with the enemy tank while the enemy backline goes untouched.
- Staying on an angle after it's been found and focused.
Dicas
- Pick your angle before the fight starts: a second line of fire splits the enemy's attention.
- Focus the same target as your team; spread damage gets healed.
- Track the enemy supports' cooldowns and punish them when they're gone.
- Shadow Step (E) moves you: if you spend it to engage, you won't have it to escape.
- Death Blossom (Q) is your ultimate: plan it with your team's ultimates instead of using it as soon as it's ready.
